To heal the self and support your work, we must heal the collective thus my offerings are both/and: for the individual and the collective. As a community engagement specialist, I have a long and wondrous career co-creating programs, processes, and coalitions to support and grow self-reliant and interdependent communities no matter the scale. My primary mission is to support all living beings and the planet by strengthening the connections between the human and more than human world.

Based on 30+ years of creating and hosting space for hard conversations from public meetings on scenic byway corridor planning to assembling 17 jurisdictions to collaborate on keeping a commercial composting facility from closing due to noxious odors, I know that changes happens at the pace of trust and visibility. From my study and practice of Tai Chi Chuan and Daoism I co-create open spaces for the emergence of generative and iterative problem solving. One of my favorite expressions is, "you don't know what you don't know". With this in mind these spaces are built upon intuition and deep listening practices where silence is essential along with what Brené Brown calls rumbles, and what I call the "messy stuff." As we engage with our heart we find each person's truth matters to the collective and each of us has a place in the radical redesign of the structural oppression our colonized ways have produced. 

To do this work requires a unique set of practices including team building and project management, entrepreneurial vision and strategic planning, patience and perseverance. Success comes in many sizes and from unexpected places. I work with strategies rooted in biomimicry and design processes.
